Privacy at Yogatique.
We try to ask for as little as possible, and use what you give us only to run the studio. This page explains what that means in practice — under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and, where relevant, GDPR.
What we collect
- From you: your name and email when you sign up for class bookings or our newsletter. Sometimes a phone number for urgent class-cancellation messages.
- From your visits: which classes you've booked and attended, kept in our booking system so we can recognise you next time.
- From the website: basic technical information (browser, approximate location, pages viewed) — the same handful of things every website server logs to function. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
Why we collect it
- To take and confirm bookings, and let you know if a class is cancelled or moved.
- To send our newsletter — only if you explicitly subscribed. You can unsubscribe from any email.
- To keep the studio running safely (knowing who's in the room, health acknowledgements where relevant).
Who else sees it
Bookings, payments and class history are handled by Rezerv. They are bound by their own privacy policy.
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. Ever.
Your rights
Under Thai PDPA and GDPR you can:
- Ask us what information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that's wrong.
- Ask us to delete it (subject to legal record-keeping requirements).
- Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time.
To do any of this, write to yogatiquebangkok@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
How long we keep it
Booking history: as long as you have an active account with us, plus 2 years (for tax / record-keeping). Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. Server logs: 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we update this page in any meaningful way, we'll note it at the top with a new date. Substantial changes will be flagged in a newsletter so you can re-read before continuing.
Questions?
