Yoga Virgins (The Flow Edition) Beginners – 90 mins with Minh  This dynamic basic class is designed for students with no previous experience or those wishing to revisit the basics. Students are taught to connect basic breath control and internal awareness to physical movement.  The class will connect the postures practiced over the past week, allowing the practitioner to begin to understand and develop “flows” linking their individual breath to movement – you do not need to attend any of the previous weeks classes to attend this class) Taught in a safe, fun, comfortable, interactive environment with the possibility of some partner work and drills to build strength.

Taught in a safe, fun, comfortable, interactive environment with the possibility of some partner work and some strength building drills

This morning class helps to calm the mind while energizing and strengthening the body. The flow calls students to focus on the breadth, hold for strength, and allow a natural opening of the body. In the Moment – In the Movement – Vinyasa Flow – All Yogis are Welcome – 90 mins with Daranee – As with all of Kru Daranee’s yoga classes, this one is full of her playful energy and unique flow sequences. You can bet that you will always leave Kru Dao’s classes feeling much looser, with a lot more energy and a big smile on your face. This class does not disappoint!

Sweet and Steady Flow – Hatha Flow – All Yogis are Welcome – 90 mins with Benz – Kru Benz teaches a class that is a mixture of a Vinyasa style flow with some longer slower holds. Providing alignment and other body centering cues, yet encouraging you to feel your way through the practice from the inside out.  While the basic structure of the class is geared towards a moderate level, you are welcome to make the class as gentle or as challenging as you like.

Relax and Renew – Yin Yoga – All Yogis are Welcome – 90 mins with Fook – Yin Yoga is a unique approach that works on releasing tension in the deep layer tissues in the body. By working slowly and with patience, yin yoga poses are typically held for longer periods of time to allow the connective tissues and fascia gently stretch and rehabilitate their flexibility. Yin yoga is known for its therapeutic approach to restore balance. Kru Fook’s practice applies the Chinese Meridian Theory on opening, circulating and storing energy (Chi) of the body as taught by Victor Chang. A Yin practice complements students who are practicing dynamic yoga to bring balance into the body.

The Morning Power Hour – Vinyasa Flow – All Levels – 60 mins with Max – Kru Max guides you from one pose to the next, following your breath bringing an inner aliveness into your body, mind and spirit. Kru Max’s classes will be more athletic, requiring some stamina and strength, while also incorporating more advanced postures with options.

Slow Flow – Alignment Focused – All Yogis are Welcome – 90 mins with Meng – This all-level class is 90 minutes of mindfully transitioning Asana meant to release stress and build body-mind-spirit awareness.  An exploratory warm-up is followed by flowing Asana that dive deep into your embodied experience. Kru Meng will be holding postures that cover the entire body, and focusing on the breath which will help to create a supple and toned body.  This class is soft and smooth but always challenging.

Our core is both our literal and energetic center of our balance and strength. The After School Special – Vinyasa Flow – Yogis with Some Experience Please – 90 mins with Minh – Creative flow sequences are emphasized, along with more challenging options for an all level class. Linking your breath and movement energizes your mind, body and spirit while creating a moving meditation in a relaxed and welcoming environment. A variety of pose options are offered based on the needs of the class, but there will be some work 🙂 Drills for building strength will be introduced. Some Partner work may be introduced.

Bangkok’s Original Karma Yoga Class (all levels) – We want as many people doing yoga as possible. We envision a more peaceful world when there is more yoga being practiced in it. We are here to be of service. We believe that a regular yoga practice should be accessible and affordable to everyone.  We ask for a donation in exchange for high-quality yoga instruction and invite students to pay what they can afford, while acknowledging the value of what they are receiving. Let karma be your guide. This class takes place once or twice every month at noon, please view our schedule for details. It will bring you back down to earth, work up some gentle heat, followed with a detoxify flow of sequences, some twists to release tension in all those nooks and crannies. Unwind your mind and leave feeling refreshed and relaxed ready for Monday.
Class is suitable for  Yoga pros, late nighters and early risers.

TGIF (Thank God its Flow) – Vinyasa Flow – Yogis with Some Experience Please – 90 mins with Minh – This fun and lively class, designed to get you fit, integrates dynamic posture sequences with deliberate breath and mindful engagement. This style of yoga is geared toward people who enjoy a physical challenge, and like to explore the body’s capacity for strength.  Classes progress through several standing and balancing series and wind down through seated and reclined poses.  Sequences are geared to achieve total balance, and options are provided for students to suit their level of ability. In this class, students are encouraged to advance their personal practice by exploring variations and testing their physical abilities. Upbeat playlists cover a variety of musical genres (you never know what Minh will play next)

Power Flow for Strength and Balance with Max- Yogis with Some Experience Please – 90 mins  – working with postures and conscious breathing in combination with mental focus develop awareness, strength, flexibility, and relaxation.  Poses will be held for several long breaths, and will also be executed with repetition so as to find your comfortable edge in a pose. If you are looking for a  practice that will challenge you physically and mentally, this is the class for you. This class will stretch and strengthen your body, and cultivate balance. You will be wrung out and then juiced back up, ready to face any challenge that comes your way.
